A survey of UK podcast listeners shows how people listen to, share and absorb marketing messages from podcasts, reports MocoNews.
The survey, conducted by Chrysalis Radio, reported that two-thirds of those who download a podcast episode actually wind up listening to it. And 90 percent of those who listen say they would consider forwarding an episode of interest to a friend.
80 percent of listeners also say they would consider seeking out product or services after hearing about them. That acceptance rate is higher than was anticipated and could open up new advertising doors for podcasters and media buyers.
The survey was relatively small, however, encompassing only 300 participants.
