CNET: Court ready to rule on Net porn
The Child Online Protection Act that has been overturned in various courts for being too broadly restrictive of speech, may finally face a final verdict when the U.S. Supreme Court announces its decision Monday on whether or not it passes constitutional muster. The act has been criticized as broadly making illegal a fuzzy category of content that might be interpreted to include health information, gay and lesbian content, and even advertising that uses sex to sell.
