DM News: ABC News Ranks Tops in Video Stream Availability
A Keynote Systems study shows that video streaming works much better now than it did a few years ago, with little latency and almost constant uptime. Almost all of the video producers surveyed, including the largest network and cable news services, showed "A+" ratings, but for BBC, which apparently suffered from lots of buffering. This stands in stark contrast to the first years of streaming video, which provided usable video feeds only during those times in which the programming was too uninteresting to attract too many users.
