An offering on Buzzwire

Streaming mobile startup Buzzwire has launched into beta Monday and will be available on select wireless carriers this fall, according to a press release.
The company allows 3G phone owners to create channels of custom audio and video feeds they can stream on their phones. Offerings range from news and weather to internet radio streams. Users can also share their own personalized playlists.

Via a simple web and mobile interface, users can choose from among 5,000 local and national media sources. The service is free to try while in beta mode.
