CNET adds yet another report to the pile indicating a Yahoo competitor to Google's Adsense contextual ad network is imminent. CNET, cited an unnamed source, said the program would be geared around small publishers, assessing their sites' content to determine which text ads would be most effective at a given moment. Google, in the absence of competition for its own Adsense program, hasn't in the past had to reveal data demanded by publishers, such as the percentage of ad revenues Google takes as a commission.
