Just like a ticker-tape parade
Starcom of Publicis Group has inherited the $234 million media-buying and planning account of Bank of America, Advertising Age reports. Agency responsibilities include the management of both traditional and online media strategy for B of A. Omnicom's BBDO shall remain the bank's lead creative agency.
Months ago, BBDO allegedly lost the business of E*Trade Financial because of conflicts of interest between E*Trade's online banking service and Bank of America's.
The B of A review was managed by Select Resources International which, incidentally, shall also manage the RPF process for Mitsubishi as it seeks to replace BBDO.
