In some yet-unreleased research I'm doing for a client, we recently noted that only around 1 percent of Internet-using respondents age 18 and up were sharing even just photos on their mobile phones. Nonetheless, RealNetworks and Sprint are set to pioneer streaming video and audio on the PCS network, to include news and entertainment content for partners including ABC News, NPR, CBS Marketwatch, ABC News and The Weather Channel for as little as $4.95 per month (on top of $15 for PSC Vision Data). It's not clear whether the service would also include ads, but I'd guess you can count on it.
