IAR: Google Extends AdSense Overseas
AdSense, Google's contextual ad serving platform has been quite successful, and it's no surprise that Google rolled it out internationally to supplement their inventory. As with the U.S. rollout, Google has started with some large publisher deals and will allow smaller publishers to participate as well. The biggest challenge overseas will not be staffing for multilingual account mangers, but managing fraud in several languages. Even though the countries slated for roll-out (Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Japan) are not the "problem countries" for fraud, they are closer to the neighborhood than the U.S. is.
