Spammers Attack SpamCop - Users Call for Spam to be Outlawed

Anti-spam solutions provider SpamCop.net is under attack. Blaming spammers, SpamCop's server was knocked over on the 9th and 14th. (For spods - the downtime can be viewed in this graph) Julian Haight, founder of SpamCop, said in a statement - "I consider it a compliment. I'm doing a good job. A good job is putting them out of business."

In related news, The Harris Poll have today released a report that claims that 40 percent of email is now spam, and that 80 percent of online users want spamming made illegal.
