DM News: Spam Continues to Hurt Digital Impact

Digital Impact reported that spam concerns continue to dog the email marketing industry, preventing adoption, lowering budget levels and generally making their financial results suffer. The email service provider reported revenues that shrunk seven percent from last year's equivalent quarter, booking a $2 million loss. The company sent out 740 million emails in the quarter, down three percent from last year.
