Spam Chasing Away Online Buyers

Internet Retailer: Spam haters are shopping less online, says a new consumer group survey

A group of 65 American and European consumer groups released a study indicating half of respondents shop less or not at all online because of a fear of inviting more spam. Only one in six survey takers thought that spam filters they used worked well. Five out of six would support laws allowing only opt-in emails.
