Yonhap News: South Korea Imposes Fines on Spammers for Unsolicited Advertising

South Korea fined 68 spammers a combined $157,000 for failing to stop sending unwanted commercial email. South Korean law allows for fines of up to about $10,000 for violations as small as failing to put an advertisement marker in a subject line.
