Sound & Vision Radio, the weekly show that offers information on home theater, audio, video and multimedia products, plans to double the number of markets it reaches in the next six months, according to MediaWeek (via MediaBuyerPlanner). The move comes as Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. has decided to shrink the circulation of the Sound & Vision monthly consumer mag by half, in order to focus on hard-core electronics fans and in the hopes of broadening the opportunities for additional platforms. The radio show debuted on 40+ stations in July. The website, too, will get an overhaul in 2006 and will include daily updates, more video content, blogs and product information.
