Sony Television has found a way to resuscitate its licensed television shows from the '70's and '80's: by chopping them down to three-to-five-minute "minisodes," and parking them on MySpace in June through an exclusive deal, reports paidContent.org.
The idea stems from the popularity of retro programming on YouTube and channels like TV Land on Nick at Nite. Sony ultimately wants to create a proprietary online destination for the minisodes, which will feature the entire narrative of each original episode.
