Six Flags has named OgilvyOne Worldwide to handle its direct and interactive marketing efforts - helping to implement its strategy of increasing both mindshare and its focus on customers - reports ClickZ, pointing out that this is the first time that Six Flags has selected a dedicated agency for interactive. Six Flags has also thrown its creative and media accounts into review. Independent W.B. Doner and Co., Southfield, Mich., has been handling the estimated $55 million account, writes AdAge.
Mike Antinoro, just-named EVP of entertainment and marketing for Six Flags, said Doner was invited to participate.
Last week, the company announced the formation of a new, New York-based entertainment and marketing division, to be led by Antinoro, a former executive producer of ESPN Original Entertainment. His responsibilities include in-park entertainment, promotions, licensing agreements, advertising, communications and investor relations.
