Site Opens Market for Recycling Rejected Creative

Le Journal du Net: A Web site gives a second chance to advertising ideas

LaPoubelle.fr is a new site launched in France to help creatives recycle their ideas, as well as find new ones to replace those that were rejected when first presented. As Le Journal du Net explains today, the idea behind LaPoubelle.fr is rather simple: an agency sends a briefing for an advertising campaign to LaPoubelle.fr. This briefing is automatically transmitted to creative teams registered on the site (40 teams today) and they have three days to present one or more ideas. For each winning project, the agency will pay 1,100 Euros (about $1,250) to acquire the right to use the idea. Both agencies and freelance creatives can remain completely anonymous during the tender process.
