Site Analytics Tool Interprets Content, Design Weaknesses — for a Fee

From the Pagealizer demo

A new site analytics service is born: Pagealizer. The offering enables marketers to increase page conversion by tracking length of time on a site, bounce rate, how far down customers scrolled, and where they clicked.

Based on that information, Pagealizer makes recommendations for optimizing page design and content. Pages are tracked individually (login page, subscribe page, privacy page, etc) to enable clients to optimize each one.

The company provides free and subscription-based plans based on how many visitors are tracked per month. For 200 and under the service costs nothing; up to 2000 users per month, the monthly rate is $9.99; for 20,000 users, $49.99; and for 200,000 users, $99 per month. Consultations are also available for a fee.

Last year Nielsen/NetRating retired the pageview-based ranking system in favor of length of time spent on site. The proliferation of technology like AJAX, which enables users to interact with a site without leaving a certain URL, have made pageviews a less-accurate means of gauging site engagement.
