Andy Sims has been hired by Publicis Groupe's ZenithOptimedia as SVP, director of interactive, and will oversee digital strategy and the agency network's interactive offerings, writes AdWeek. He is also charged with integrating new-media capability in all U.S. Zenith and Optimedia offices. He replaces Brenda Goodman, who is leaving the company; Sims will report to Tim Jones, CEO of ZenithOptimedia USA.
"Andy is big step in our plan to upgrade and expand our digital offering," said Jones, in a statement. "He comes to ZO with outstanding credentials, as his experience lies at the intersection of strategic media planning and digital. He will bring huge value to all of our clients."
Sims was most recently the director of interactive marketing services at SF Interactive and a partner at agency Butler, Shine Stern & Partners, Sausalito, Calif. - SFI's parent.
