"Simpsons" Video with Live Actors Goes Viral

A video that more-or-less faithfully re-enacts - with live actors - the introductory segment of The Simpsons show is spreading across the web "faster than Homer can say 'Doh'" as part of a viral campaign by U.K. satellite broadcaster BSkyB, reports Reuters. The video, produced by Sky and agency Devilfish, was part of an on-air promotion for Sky One, which airs The Simpsons in the U.K. Sky released it online as part of a brand-building exercise.

After less than a week, millions have viewed the Simpsons video at sites such as YouTube and Google Video.

Sky worked with Simpsons producers and creator Matt Groening. News Corp. owns "The Simpsons" and about a one-third stake in BSkyB.
