Simply Measured has announced a new and updated Facebook Fan Page Report, and it's a pretty rich offering of Facebook health – particularly into influencers: Who is posting, whose posts attract engagement, who make the most posts.
Simply Measured offers an example Report for Ford Motor Company for October, which names (among other things) top posters by total engagement. #1 is some guy named Rob Webster, Sr., with 2,804 engagements (most don't break 100) for a nostalgic post about his grandpa's 1963 Ford F-250 4 X 4.
Simply Measured says its updates are designed to "bring you the most relevant content in a package that's easy to understand, analyze and present to your teams."
Among the updates are that the report is broken into four navigable sections highlighted by tabs differentiating each portion. The first section is a high level overview of a report period, including admin activity, fan breakdown and engagement summary, and top content callout.
The engagement breakdown has some rich new details, including an in-depth analysis of three highest engagement "peaks" and how they break down into replies, Retweets and whether or not they were brand-driven content.
The Admin Posts By Type has changed considerably, now providing a clear side-by-side picture of engagement and total use of each post type, thus allowing you to focus on the type of content that is driving the most engagement.
A Community Health section shows fan growth over time with a callout of your largest growth in fans. It also includes a "People Talking About This" (PTAT) chart and summary of how this relates to your fan base and how it has changed over the report period.
A new User Posts section breaks down your fans' posts and the engagement on those posts, offering insight into what exactly fans are interested in.
A new Day and Time section breaks down your most engaging day and time, allowing you to plan your content calendar accordingly.
Top Links and Top Domains are now displayed in tables instead of charts.
Top Posts and Top Comments are now sortable by type of engagement when viewing in Excel.
