Footwear retailer Shoes.com is adding Bazaarvoice's Ask & Answer tool to its site.
Bazaarvoice is a service that feeds customer ratings and reviews to consumer portals and comparison-shopping sites. Its Ask & Answer tool lets shoppers post and respond to product questions on e-commerce sites.
The Q&A conversations shall run alongside product info and will be available for every product on the Shoes.com website, reports DM News.
Customers will be invited to participate through a purchase confirmation email that thanks them for their business, then points them to where they can discuss the shoes with potential buyers.
In addition to the new feature, Shoes also updated its product search feature and enhanced product descriptions to make the site more customer-friendly.
