Five media shops remain in contention as Sears Holdings considers its final decision, reports AdWeek.
MindShare, MEC Interaction, Carat, MPG and Horizon Media remain in the running for media duties for both Sears and Kmart media duties. MindShare and MEC are the incumbents, currently handling traditional and interactive duties respectively. The review process was just confirmed two weeks ago.
Whatever the decision, it will not affect DraftFCB, which just last week was awarded creative duties by Kmart. Likewise for Young & Rubicam's creative work for Sears.
