ClickZ: Industry Players Predict Search's Future
This ClickZ general report from the trenches at the SES show "Future of Search" panel forgot the most entertaining part. As usual, Craig Silverstein Director of Technology at Google used highly entertaining examples of how search might morph in the future. He used imaginary all-knowing, ever-present computers genetically engineered to become yeast-based super pets that can intuit the answer to challenges that require emotional input and AI level sophistication. Microsoft and Yahoo might finally find that tough to replicate.
