Online content made available in the Flash format often makes for a better user experience, but firms like Google find it very hard to index and present among their search engine listings. Reports indicate that Google does indeed comb through Flash files to get at keywords, but it just isn't the same thing as having many HTML pages on which to land. It is already becoming a common practice to offer both Flash and non-Flash versions of sites.
