Some major search engine marketing firms (and their blogs) began fretting over allegations that Google is attempting to "own" their clients search campaigns. One unnamed search executive, one that had passed Google's professional qualifications criteria, reportedly was told by Google that they would not help him serve a new, large client because Google felt that the client should be served directly by the search engine itself.
