Search Suggestions Goes Live on Google Video

Kittens make a comeback

Google Video added Search Suggestions, a feature that suggests related videos and searches to users typing in a query.

"If you are searching for 'kittens,' you may see suggestions like 'cute kittens,' 'funny kittens,' 'newborn kittens' … and so on," wrote the Google Video blog.

"Clicking on these suggested search terms will lead you to the respective search results page, and another set of suggestions. If you continue following through these suggestion links, your first search may very well turn into hours of exploration."

Suggested videos will include results from YouTube, which accounts for 98 percent of viewing across Google properties, said Search Engine Land, via comScore.
