What's your
image search style?
Over the weekend Google added several new features to its online offerings.
The first is style options for image search (featured at left). After conducting an image search, users have the option to specify image size (from "small" to "extra large images") and content type: news, faces, clip art, photo content and line drawings.
Second, Google's included web history results in search suggestions. The feature incorporates past searches that are similar to a search the user is currently running.
At present, only select users can see it:
Past search history isn't used exclusively to assist current queries, however. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Google uses data from previous searches to serve ads on current ones.
Finally, the Google Reader Blog added a "What's Hot" option to its sidebar. The feature aggregates material that is popular in the blogosphere.
