Saturn, Sprint Sponsor Scripps Series Starring 'Eat This' Chef

Scripps's "Eat This" with Dave Lieberman on FoodNetwork.com garnered more than 1 million page views in its first two weeks - and a second helping of webisodes, dubbed "Dave Does," will premiere Monday, August 14, to satisfy visitors' appetites. The new series will consist of a baker's dozen of five-minute webisodes. Sprint and Saturn have signed on as sponsors, and Sprint customers will also be able to watch video from "Dave Does" on their cell phones.

For the new series, Lieberman will be delving into the latest food trends, including ordering food online, gadgets you must have and those you want, foods that ignite passion and insider restaurant locations that locals know. Shooting for the series will sites in Boston, Philadelphia, New York and Portland, OR.

"We've had great success working with FoodNetwork.com to introduce the utility of our phones to a new audience through the text-based shopping list application available on select recipes. We are excited to continue to evolve the partnership with this offering of video from 'Dave Does' to our subscribers," Ted Moon, director of media innovations for Sprint, said in a statement.

"Audience reaction to 'Eat This' was overwhelmingly positive," said Beth Higbee, SVP of Scripps Networks Interactive overseeing FoodNetwork.com. " Both the previous series and the new 'Dave Does'' series serve to show our current users new utilities and functionalities that they may not have equated with us in the past; we also reach an audience that may not watch us on-air but is interested in food trends and enjoys quick bites of information thus introducing them to the brand."
