Prague could use a billboard or two
Per M&C Saatchi's latest state of the agency report, Eastern Europe appears to be the next region poised for an advertising invasion.
M&C Saatchi CEO David Kershaw says the agency is setting sights on Central and Eastern Europe "through acquisitions and organic growth," according to London's Times.
Kershaw is particularly interested in Poland, which he calls a "booming market."
Eastern Europe is currently undergoing a youth drain, where young people are leaving the former Easter Bloc for Western Europe and other places. By 2025, between one-fifth and one quarter of Eastern Europe will be over 65.
This exodus by youth is expected to hurt the job market in the area significantly.
