Carat Interactive has named Mark Russell as the new SVP and managing director of its Boston office, reports AdWeek. Russell will report to Toby Gabriner, the agency's president, and will lead new business efforts and oversee services for clients such as AOL, Gateway and Wachovia. In 1991 Russell founded C-Quential, an online brand marketing firm. He was formerly with Connelly Partners, a Boston-based independent advertising shop.
