Mediabistro.com has officially been put in play, writes BtoB Online. Media investment bank DeSilva & Phillips is seeking buyers for the site, which is reportedly projected to generate $6 million in revenue this year and $8 million in 2007.
The networking, jobs and news site for journalists, PR people and other communications pros is apparently asking for a sale price of three or four times revenue, reports AdAge. It's not clear whether media companies or job boards such as Monster or Vault would be interested.
