Revver Shuffles Management, Two Cofounders Leave

YouTube rival Revver has undergone a management shuffle, with CEO Steven Starr remaining but fellow RevverĀ cofounders Ian Clarke and Oliver Luckett leaving, along with several support staff.

The departures come as three execs join the senior staff of Revver, Ad Age reports. Kevin Wells is the site's chief operating officer; David Armitage, most recently ad director at Edmunds.com, is the new SVP-advertising sales; and Angela Gyetvan, formerly a corporate marketing executive with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, is VP-marketing.

The management changes could point to possible difficulties the site is having in its attempt to gain on the wildly popular YouTube. Revver differentiates itself from YouTube by letting its content creators share in ad revenue generated from the viewing of the videos they submit.
