Stories related to innovation, intelligence and like topics will automatically trigger ads for Hyundai, specifically its Veracruz SUV. This ad-serving method is Hyundai's exclusively for 30 days, but Reuters has expressed receptivity to the notion of involving other advertisers.
The ads are triggered with an algorithm based on certain keywords or phrases in the story. Ads appear on Reuters.com in addition to the service's mobile channel and Times Square sign in New York City.
