Email marketer Return Path has added a mobile rendering tool so clients can see how a campaign looks on a range of smartphones.
Added to its Campaign Prevew, the new feature is a nod toward the growing number of users reading email on handsets.
Since most email clients are designed for the desktop and later adapted for mobile, the tool combats sloppy code that plagues email landing pages viewed on a mobile device.
In addition to covering 90 percent of email readers stateside, rendering capabilities are available for mobile operating systems and European email readers spanning from France, Germany, and the UK, according to a release.
