Microsoft: Block-level Link Analysis

SearchEngineLowdown reports that Jason Dowdell has found some interesting published Microsoft tidbits that better explain how it may plan to trump Google and Yahoo with a new type of search engine in the coming quarters. The PDF document seems to suggest adding the factor of layout analysis to determine which web concepts are really linked topically.

In separate news, SearchEngineLowdown predicts that Microsoft will launch its new search engine on or before December 13.
