Mere weeks after Sony Pictures invests $3 million into its asset-saving capital investing phase, Australian film and TV download service ReelTime.TV has decided to move into games, according to Next Generation.
ReelTime offers movies on its site the same day they go on sale in stores. The site plans to offer over 700 new game titles alongside 1,700 older games for PCs and various consoles.
Sources suggest Sony's influence could pave the way for movies that download directly onto the PS3. However, Sony Pictures and Sony Computer Entertainment are two divisions that have yet to formally cross paths.
