Real Cities adds OC, OK, Colorado Springs to National Network

Real Cities Network has added three new affiliates to its national advertising network of 120-plus local newspaper websites: www.OCRegister.com in Orange County, CA; www.NewsOK.com in Oklahoma; and www.gazette.com in Colorado Springs, CO. Real Cities now reaches more than 30 million unique visitors, according to Nielsen/NetRatings.

"Local newspaper websites attract and engage high-quality, affluent audiences, but can be difficult to buy nationally," said Lem Lloyd, Real Cities Network VP. "With these three affiliates, Real Cities makes it even easier to reach local buyers with one call. Orange County complements our Los Angeles and San Diego sites, so we cover Southern California like never before. The Gazette strengthens our representation in Colorado, and NewsOK.com brings a new state to the network."

Knight Ridder Digital is the founder and operator of the Real Cities Network, which it says is the largest national network of local news sites. The network includes newspaper websites owned by Advance Internet, McClatchy, Media General, MediaNews Group, Scripps and others.
