Q4 Email Delivery Nearly 97 Percent

Email messages sent by retailers hit targeted inboxes 96.7 percent of the time in the fourth quarter, leading all industry segments, reports Internet Retailer, citing figures by Digital Impact, which based its figures on email delivered by its clients.

The overall email deliverability rate in Q4 was 95.4 percent, up from 95 percent in Q3. The telecom industry showed the sharpest increase, rising 5 percent to 94 percent, while travel and finance declined slightly.
