Publicis Groupe has done what many in the industry had expected it to do, consolidating its two media networks under one corporate management structure, according to MediaPost (via MediaBuyerPlanner). The recent trend has been to create corporate-level oversight for the disparate media organizations of major agency holding companies, such as Aegis, Interpublic, Omnicom, and WPP Group.
Jack Klues, previously CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group, will now oversee all of Publicis's media operations, including ZenithOptimedia, in his new role as chairman of Publicis Groupe Media.
