Publicis, Rapt to Cast Ambiguity Out of Online Ad Buys


Agency holding company Publicis has partnered with Rapt to form Rapt Information Services.

The firm will provide historical data on the performance of online ad inventory, which may be used to determine ad value and demand. By making the value of ads transparent, the partners hope to make online ad buying more attractive for buyers.

Information garnered by Rapt Information Services shall be available to anyone. The operation will formally debut in Q2 of 2008.
