Publicis Groupe introduced a new unit that combines all its digital efforts, reports Advertising Age.
The new group, ViviKi, integrates digital operations from all branches of the Publicis universe, including Starcom, Digitas, MediaVest and Zenith OptiMedia. By combining all them, Publicis hopes to increase its negotiating power in the interactive realm.
In addition to giving clients a central point of contact for digital needs, ViviKi's will provide solutions to media companies with existing integrated campaigns but no ad programs.
Publicis also hopes ViviKi will give it some leverage over non-agency rivals like Google, which recently debuted the Ad Planner for agencies and media buyers.
The division will be headed by David Kenny and Jack Klues. Staff will total about 30, with a Nerve Center pulling together analytics and other information.
