Prism Business Media will shutter the print version of Video Systems, the company has announced, and is launching a new magazine, Digital Content Producer, writes BtoB Online (via MediaBuyerPlanner). The website for the new magazine, Digitalcontentproducer.com, is already up, and the first print issue will appear in May.
The publication will have a circulation of 60,000, 25 percent more than Video Systems, and will target film video production professionals creating content for distribution platforms such as cinemas and cell phones - apparently a $4.3 billion industry.
