Poll by PollDaddy
Little-known widget company PollDaddy has released a 2.0 version that offers marketers and publishers a suite of data-collecting widgets.
v2.0 arrives in tangent with the company's launch of an online survey widget, a form generator capable of building contact forms (available by mid-December), as well as a quiz generator.
PollDaddy is also boosting reporting, tracking, fraud detection, and voter location features. Basic features will remain free, while a premium suite will cost $20 per month.
The company's ultimate goal is to seamlessly integrate into sites so users do not notice its offerings are third-party apps.
PollDaddy was put on the map as a polling widget featured on R.Kelly's MySpace page, gathering some 1.2 million responses, according to TechCrunch. It currently has some 70,000 users and is viewed 70 million times per month across the web.
