PlanetOut, a media company serving the gay and lesbian community, launches a new venue for advertisers this September with PlanetOut Video, an online, on-demand broadband video site.
The site will receive programming from the Sundance Channel and will carry the exclusive premier of that channel's eight-part "Transgeneration" series prior to its September 20 release on Sundance, MediaPost reports.
Toyota will be a major sponsor of the site. Ads for the Toyota Scion are now running on the Gay.com and PlanetOut.com network.
