PhoneSpots, formerly PocketThis, has re-branded and announced a number of new ventures, including a mobile ad exchange marketplace, reports Search Engine Land.

The firm announced its technology will now power the delivery to mobile devices of search results from YellowPages' text service. The deal does not include ad delivery since YellowPages maintains its own advertisers.

PhoneSpots has also developed its own mobile ad marketplace and delivery platform. The marketplace will connect mobile publishers with local advertisers, providing for geo-targeted results to user searches. Ads can be delivered within text messages or to mobile-friendly browsers. Those ads can be in response to voice, text or WAP searches.
