CNET: Patent office to re-examine Eolas patent

The U.S. Patent Office, possibly realizing the stupidity of originally granting the Eolas patent - the one that caused a half billion dollar court decision against Microsoft and could possibly force the entire Internet to handle rich media differently - will reconsider its original grant.
