AOL said it will concentrate its search efforts on optimization, but will also buy keywords from Google, Yahoo and others. The company wouldn't disclose planned adspend, but a spokesperson told ClickZ that a New York Times report that AOL would spend "tens of millions of dollars" on paid search was exaggerated - though that's not exactly what the Times reported.
