This July Pageflakes will be marking its foray into social networking with its latest offering of Blizzard, reports Mashable. Originally slated for June 28, the launch was pushed back to accommodate more requests from users.
Blizzard makes Pageflakes "totally social," with additions like a "People" tab for finding other users and subscribing to user-generated "Pagecasts."
Media companies like CBS, The Washington Post and People may also be developing Pagecasts for Blizzard, though this is open to change.
Mashable points out that as sites like Facebook become more like an aggregated startpage, startpages such as Pageflakes are evolving into social networks.
