The insiders are realtors that advertise and place listings on Homestore. They are most concerned about the potential that their listing content will be used to attract visitors, only to have those visitors click away to competitive listings. According to the Realty Times piece, the listings will be only for complementary services and products and will not be competitive real estate listings. Nonetheless, any links that distract the visitor from their primary mission could be diluting the value of the listings, and that seems to be the primary concern.
