Overture to Automate Broad Matching, Wins Yahoo, Microsoft Distribution

CNET: Overture heads toward automation

An Overture executive told CNET that it plans to automate its ad auction system next month. The company's global product management head said it will combine and automate broad matching and phrase matching. The service will be called "advanced match type," and be distributed to Yahoo and Microsoft, the major portals that in the past had opted out of Overture's non-keyword specific search products.
